Fashionable city and city of fashion: development prospects of the industry on the territory of Eastern Europe at Ukraine Fashion Marketing Conference held at Kyiv Fashion.

Fashion as a social phenomenon is a distinct feature of those societies only where institutes of democracy are developed well, which approves expressing of one’s individuality. A necessary condition for production of modern “fashion standards” is having some sort of cultural and economic space. A developed light industry does not guarantee an appearance of fashion industry.
